Direct Burials
Services include the local transfer of remains to the funeral home, funeral director and staff services, securing of necessary authorizations, local transportation to the cemetery, and an alternative container. You may supply your own container for a lesser charge. The direct burial prices do not include the cemetery charges. Transfer of the remains to the funeral establishment includes personnel, equipment, and use of a vehicle.
Direct Cremation
Cremation services include the local transfer of remains to the funeral home, funeral director and staff services, securing of necessary authorizations, local transportation to the cemetery, an alternative container for cremation, and the return of the remains to the funeral home. You may supply your own cremation container for a lesser charge or use an unfinished wood box or other container. Alternative containers can be made of heavy cardboard, pressed wood, or composition materials (with or without an outside covering), or may be pouches of canvas or other materials. The direct cremation prices do not include the crematory charge.
